I may actually be able to make this event. Let's hope for good weather.

 

I hope I can make it all depends on my work schedule. For those of you looking for a place to go in May. On May 3rd our club The Violators is having a party/show at the Oley Fairground in Oley PA. There is a liitle place that only serves breakfast and lunch near by on Rte 12 called Chatty's good food Good Price!! You could meet there then cruise over to the fairgrounds and hang out with us only $5.00 per person 2 live rock a billy bands and dj all day. Ugh...it's Saturday night and I just read your post inviting me over...I was in the garage all day working on the T...doing some wiring and working on shock mounts....getting closer.

I think Sonic is having their Cruise Night Kick-Off on Saturday afternoon....The normal Thursday night deal starts the following week.

 

I'll be there, but my Chevy wagon isn't out of mothballs, and the Plymouth 'rod is still a wet dream. At least the HHR is a reasonable facsimile thereof, and ya gotta luv that "Sunburst Orange" paint.

I was up near Hamburg yesterday and scouted out Cabelas. Lot J of their parking lot is right near the main entrance as soon as you enter on the main drag there. So, let's meet at lot J.

 

So, if any of you are not heavy set, middle aged guys with old car related hats,you better wear a rose behind your left ear or something so we can tell who you are.

I think he's talking about the Sonic in Brownstown..right off of the brownstown exit off 222. The have nice cruises that are well attended.

Assuming we don't get massive amounts of rain, i'll be in the sedan, YAH! Need to thrash a bit to get the ignition system back together, but it should be ready.

I was talking about the one in Morgantown. I live in Elverson, just east of Morgantown. I don't know what going on at the other Sonic off of 222. I have been to there cruise nights, though.

 

I am hoping Megan comes but she hasn't committed yet. Her and I will be getting together with our planners and coming up with a full summer schedule in two weeks. Attending the Jalopy Showdown is kinda a no brainer as I practicly have to drive by her place in Ohio to get to PA.

I'm hoping she'll bring her roadster cuz I'd love to circle the track a few times in it. Big Olds on the other hand will not be making any laps. If Megan and I both come out in Big Olds we will be at the gate to the track trading cookies for rides in roadsters.

Sounds yummy, need to try that next party.
