Grrr... Just came in from checking oil, tire pressure, etc to get the chevy II ready to leave the garage for the first time in a few months. Wife is currently in the bathroom next to me sitting on the can and vomiting in a bag. Food poisoning or stomach flu or something.

Gonna try my best to make it tomorrow but it is not looking good. Hoping this passes quick. Something tells me I'd be in a raft of shit if she is still like this tomorrow, and I leave to go do "car stuff". :( :(

Why does shit like this seem to always happen?!?!

  2. Ok, looks like plans for me have changed, since I'm carpooling with a friend. He wants to hit up the swap and spend a good portion of the day there, and since he's the one with the car, I'm at his mercy. Sooooo, anyone up for grabbing a late lunch in the afternoon?

  3. I got last minute airport pick up plans, dang work, I wont make it, Im a lttle POd right now.......

Wife was up sick all night, and is now sleeping. I told her "since you will be sleeping anyway, it's not a problem if I step out for a few hours, right?" I got a delerious head nod, so I'm taking that as a "yes". :D

See you guys in a few hours.

Had a good time. It's good to but faces to names. At least when I can remember them! I'm even thawed out. The ride home wasn't bad at all.

Great to meet everyone. Had a really good time.

I need to get out and do stuff like this more often. My wife and I moved to the Harrisburg area ~4 yrs ago from Pittsburgh, and I just haven't really ever found the time to get out and do thigns like this to meet other 'car guys'. Enjoyed seeing everyones cars, and hearing about the projects at home.

BTW... wife is recovering from her bout with the stomach flu or food poisoning. Stopped and got her Ginger Ale and Chicken soup on the way home today. Just got her to try eating some soup and it is staying down (so far). Keeping my fingers crossed! :)

Thanks a bunch go to Jerry for organizing the event. It was great hanging out with fellow HAMBrs. 'A fun time, but a bit nippy. Frank gets the polar bear award for driving out in his "air-conditioned" T, whoa I get cold just thinking about it. Mrak and me also went to check out Jerry's very cool roadster and killer louver press in his shop afterwards.
'Great time, looking forward to next month.

Cabella's was a good meeting place since I got to shop for my wife's birthday present, too. But a bit further west and/or north, would shorten the distance for me and some of the other central PA guys.Guess we can't please everybody every time, though. Just a thought. OH,and maybe we can try a met time at Carlisle-same place same time every day? Looks like Thursday will be my only day since I have a business trip that weekend.
