i have seen a clear bead material used around quarter windiows on woodies does any one know what it is - name brand =thanks for info

  2. Probably a clear silicon sealer like you can purchase at any home improvement center. HRP

  3. The beauty of the 100% Clear Silicon caulk is it's chemical make up allows it to expand and contract with the weather conditions. HRP

  4. The 3M stuff remains flexible which allows it to expand and contract plus can be painted if needed.

The problem w/ clear silicone sealer is it photochemically degrades over time [turns yellowish] supposedly it still works fine ... but... a clear caulk that doesn't yellow is marketed as "LEXAL" high priced but works well .. [ it's an elastomeric copolymer]
