I know there's been other posts about this as i've searched them.
I keep getting this upon trying to Google the VIN...

    http://vehicledataregistry.com/VIN.php?type=VIN&id=ms1016

    anyone use this site?
anyone know of a better one?

I'm ok with paying a few bucks as the above one wants 30...expecially if it may lead to the car whether it might be for sale or just to know it's still around.
The state will not give out that info, already tried that route

  2. You have a vin and you want to know if you can register using the vin? Or???

Got a VIN just wondering if the car is still around or junked....
Reality i'd love to find who owns it if it's still around, but just knowing it's still around would be awesome. Also keep me checking VINS at car shows maybe finding it

  4. I know that in MO it is just a matter of going to the DMV and asking them to run the vin number. They charge you a token fee.

There has got to be a national registry at least law enforcement tells us that they can find out about any car any where or any ***le any where. Maybe go to the cop shop and make friends with a guy on the desk.
