if someone would post a link to this thread I'd appreciate it. I had saved the original but my favs folder went bye bye. Tanks a blot.
First off, not every post gets an immediate response for various reasons. Your post is less than 24 hours old. The answer to your post lies in doing searches here on the HAMB. You're too lazy to do it, so you've got to wait for someone to do it for you. Maybe it will happen, maybe not. Stu
I'll search for it if I get paid $10 an hour to do it.... Seriously, though, we have a search feature you can find at top right of the board, or click on advanced search, you can narrow it down by who posted and keywords and which one of the forums it's in... and if all else fails you can search for it on Google, it seems to pull older threads up than the search here will because people are always finding stuff that's like 10 years old and replying and bringing it back to the top long past any relevance to anything.
Dear Sirs... Though I am humored by your witty replies, I regret to inform you that I have already utilized the search feature to no avail. My inquiry was based strictly on the idea that such a post regarding the use of modern auto body panels to create a vintage style hot rod would be "different" enough that other users may remember it and be able to hunt it down. My apologies to have peed in your cheerios.
404 Not Found.. got that too. Using new euro trash vans as parts in a build? Sorry, no cheerio's just lucky charms on my table. Um....Moderator... maybe close this thread before it goes sideways?
Meh, not asking for it to go sideways, or for it to get anywhere off topic. If someone knows what thread I'm talking about and has it saved, please post. If you don't, thanks anyhow, no need for a reply in here kicking a dead horse.
.... so I send you a message to ask how your projects are coming, and you're this welcoming? I see zome places never change. Now can the thread get on topic? If someone knows what thread I was trying to find, and has it saved, can you post a link? And again, please, if you do not know the thread or don't have a reason to reply, can we keep the replies to a minimum? I'm just looking for some info here. Nothing more.
It's actually a very cool build using the corners of a late model FORD VAN as the QUARTERS of a modified roadster tub. Maybe he can think of some key words to search by....
Yes, that's the exact thread. I had it saved in my favorites for looking at later, and lost the folder... having a heck of a time finding it now. Tried searching the more common threads about it, and couldn't find it. But apparently I digress... I checked my posts and it turns out that I apparently posted in the thread at one time along with saving it, so I found it in there. Here's a link for anyone interested. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=469206 So, since I've apparently offended half the planet by asking a simple question, I leave it to you guys. That's all I needed anyhow. Thanks.
