I'm looking for seat sugestions for my 28 model A (chopped 7")
It's really narrow... Need a seat that's 16" wide MAX.
    ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED

16 inches wide" SIXTEEN? WIDE? Is this a go-cart? (smiling) Please clarify. I am also building a chopped A coupe. A 4 inch chop. Seven seems like a awful lot. Photos?
I'm going to fabricate my seat using a wood frame, steel webbing and high density foam.

I used a pair of 60s beetle buckets in a 28 a while back, though the last 28 I used a pair of glide seats.

  4. 16" you section it sideways? Yikes!

Let me guess, it has to clear the drive shaft.

  6. He said it was chopped, not channeled, but maybe you're right?

I used 85 Fiero seats in my '31 but I don't know about 16" wide-you must have a pretty skinny behind and a stick of a girlfriend. :)

I'd have to chop my *** to fit a 16" seat

im building a model A also and am looking at kirkey vintage cl*** seats. they are available in different widths. do a search but i think speedway has the best price, but only have the 16" seats. they are $169 each and $109 for the covers.

  13. I don't know the width but my son bought jeep seats fully uhpolstered on line 125 each
