Setting up the clutch linkage on my chevy. When the throwout bearing is correctly seated on the fork it should be able to pivot, correct? But when I push the bearing on the fork I can easily push it back 'past center' and up against the collar of the fork which will not allow the bearing to move and ****s it slightly. I ***ume when installed correctly the input shaft of the transmission will keep the bearing alignment on the fork, correct?
