Projects seats for a 55 chevy pickup

ok so i need to put in a new seat in my 55 chevy pu anybody have any ideas i dont want to drill ne holes and i would like it to be bolt on any ideas thanks.

 

Stock?

Pretty much anything other than the stock seat will require you to at least drill holes in your floor. My favorite seat for those trucks is the 89 and up Silverado bench. Either the deluxe one with the arm rest or without. but please put a cover over it... the stock upholstery is really ugly!

 

ya i was thinking to try and find a bench seat and put cover over it but i wasnt positive it any other seats would work for my year and what about a s10 seat will that work?

 

Bit narrow and not as easy as the Sliverado

 

I'll second the silverado bench seat. They fit in really nice and are super comfortable if you are average sized. Here's my interior, please excuse the tweed and billet, I did the interior in the early 90's. That material is like sitting on a gunny sack.

you dont have your original seat? I had my stock seat restored in my 55.5 and i liked it alot

 

ok i think i might go with the silverodo seats and your truck looks good dave Kail no i do not have origonal seats we bought the truck about 3 months ago and the guy put in swivel bucket seats out of an elcomeno and we do not like it for the truck but over all its in really good shape
