Here is the seat in my Galaxie. This was my first attempt at upholstery.

There are a few mistakes, but only I seem to notice them.

 

Not to hijack, but what kind of car is that? I like the instrument panel.

'53 Desoto

 

These are the ones that I put in my roadster. They are tractor seats, slammed to the floor with a 2" rake to recline them towards the back of the car. I had to cut them both down in width to get them to fit side by side.

 

Those are some of the nicest I have seen!

It's a '53 or '54 DeSoto.

 

Heck I was hoping to sneak a peek inside a few COE's and trucks as well...

The seat inserts were matched to the engine.

 

Mine made from Chevy Lumina APV rear seats.

These will go in my '28 coupe.

 

The upholstery in my Little T, most of upholstery work I've performed over the last forty years has with been with things like motorcycle sidecars, race
cars, or hydroplane racing boats with a few easy jobs like truck seats thrown in. I'm a long way from being a professional, but I still find it easier
doing it myself than paying someone else to do the work. I still have my
original Consew machine that I purchased back in 1972 and it still works like the day I bought it.

 

Here's the seat in my roadster...the kid that did it had never done a rod...mostly mini-trucks,donks,etc...Was nervous at first,til I saw what he had sketched out...

 

Wow, he sure pulled that on off nicely! Looks like a quality job to me!

Here's the seat in my F-1, simple black vinyl. No seats in the COE yet....

 

Here is a shot of my plywood, foam, seat for my 1930 Ford pickup. It has two different foam firmness to provide the feel I wanted. It is lower than stock, and provides more leg romm than the original spring/upholstered seat cushions.
