    Thanks.

Oh, finding that carpet was tough for us as well. Just about threw in the towel. We had the seats, door panels, and headliner upholstered before we realized there was no auto grade carpet in this color purple anywhere . So we went with household grade. This carpet was purchased at a direct carpet wholesaler in Tacoma, Washington. It's called "Grape Jelly".

    Thanks for asking.

I had these done for my 58 fairlane 500. I chose to keep them simple as might have been done in this era.

When I got this car the interior was navy blue and it came with a Wise Guys seat,so I had the seat upholstered and I used SEM vinyl paint in brown to change the panels and finished it off with brown carpet.

I was lazy on my roadster build, and did not want to sew one this time around. Got a rear seat out of a 2005 Focus ZX3, and the replacement rear seat cover for a 1964 Falcon Convertible. I had to alter the seat pan and foam, but the cover fit like a glove. DSCF0007.JPG

I used early Bronco buckets in my 39. The have the 60's Mustang look but they are a tad bigger and fill the car better. Cheap to find, lot's of Bronco guys upgrade their seats. Bronco repop houses sell new covers/ foam kits cheap so thats a bonus as well. DSC_0034.JPG

Sid Chavers did these in my '51 Victoria in 1998. They still look exactly the same:
