i'm considering molding the grill on my '52 chev for a bit more of a custom look but don't know how you guys do it. i've seen pics but how do you connect the grill to the body? welding? what kind of metal is the grill and teeth made of? please tell me if there's any tricks to this before make yet another goof. thanx
It's a matter of taste, if you are going to go to the trougle of molding in a grille shell, the 53 will look a lot better than your stock shell. I you do the stock shell they are steel not pot metal. Be sure you get all of the chrome off of them before you paint. Best way to do this is to have a chrome shop take it off. Their method will get it ALL off. BB
