VERY cool........I wonder who is going to "sneak in the H-ambr" trophy to give it away.....if I remember correctly Ryan mentioned last year that the trophy is going to have a step child.....roll in under darkness and drop it off and clean the foot prints off the "carpet" and make sure that no finger prints were left on the mirrors and get the heck outta' dodge.

Ill drive that! Like the engine setup....very cool!!

  10. Imagine putting those big water slide decals on there! Seeing those pics reminds me of my Dad...everytime I started a model he would slide into my seat at the kitchen table and take over the "build"

I think they'll have one in the air this year and it would be "COOL" to have the car and the plane on the tarmac together!!!!

Man, ya beat me to it. I was thinking it would have been cool to have someone make over sized decals and have them on there instead of paint, just for authenticity. They could even have rips like all the ones I put on as a kid. :D Imagine the size of the kitchen table that was built on!

    Yes sir!!!!!

  26. That is so cool, replicating a model in 1:1!! I think thats the first time I have ever seen it done that way round!

  27. I know of it being done once with a t bucket from a old 50s kit,Lonnie Gilbertson from Milwaukie Oregon did it,even built the display with the box for a back drop and glue and paint brushes think the last I saw it was whe it was at the REAL Oakland Grand National Roadster Show in 98 or 99...Im lookin for pics now it would be a grat time for them to re release the kit!!

That is one amazing piece of craftsmanship. It looks as though every detail was taken into account to make it look exactly like the model. Stunning

  29. That kinda rings a I think I may have seen it in a mag? I didn't know the car was built to look like the model though!

Wingnitz, you and me both buddy! One day, maybe if Kermit gets one we will see one flying. Then I would find a woman to have a kid with just so I can give away my first born just to go for a ride in it!
Oh, how I love p-61s! Did I mention there my favorite non Australian built aircraft??
    Doc.
