  11. Nuts!

That's awesome. I'd probably like to see it with chrome bumpers too, but are they moulded in?

CONGRATS on a really great job...plenty of balls to cut it that radically and be able to visualize a winning result.

It always seemed to me that lots of sectioned cars are cut too much....leaving a "stepped on" look. Your efforts do not leave that appearance. Just plain KOOOOOL.

Here is a woody wagon that I sectioned 4", chopped 3", and lowered the "flower car" crown an inch or so....total lowering was nearly a foot, but it doesn't really look stepped on. The car is now getting new, hand-fitted wood.:D

  20. Hey its been a while since I posted anything on this thread, Ive been just thrashing to get this thing done. I was trying to complete it for a show at the end of February and then........... Gene Windfield calls me 3wks ago! Gene says weve got a 20x20 spot at the Grand National Roadster Show for a 49 caddy were building, unfourtunately were not going to have it ready in time we dont want to lose our coveted spot ,so would you like it for your Chevy? WOW I was like Gene the cars got no interior not polished ect, I dont know if its possible. He says talk it over with your wife and let me know by the end of the day.I talked to my wife and she says go for it ,well figure it out somehow! I phoned Gene back said yes and things were in motion. I had 2 weekends and most week nights to do the impossible, but it did get done at 12 AM the night before leaving for the show. WHEW! Special thanks to my buddy Lyle Kelly, Bob Hopcott Debbie Hopcott for lending me thier truck and for providing moral support and baby sitting services Jenn Foxley for your love and support, Ken Ransford and Frank for lending me their trailer to make the trip from Maple Ridge BC Canada to Pomona California
