Hot Rods Sedan Delivery and Panel Truck picture thread

Where'd you come up with that number? I had always heard 370 for all the 1936-1937 Panel Deliveries. The later production from early 1937 Panel Deliveries came with 1937 16" wheels.

 

Here's a picture I've had awhile, don't know enough to know what year it is.

 

I'm at work so I can't verify exactly when taken but it became Foley's Fooler in 1967 so this is early on 1966 ish as they only raced it a short time.

 

What's the value of these things? I can buy this one. It's real nice and the wood has been redone already.

 

I can't believe I forgot to put the car responsible for my passion for drag racing in here.

The Blown Hearse fired up at their home base D&E garage one afternoon about 500 yards from my school when I was 10 years old. After school HAD to go investigate the glorious sound and pedaled my ass over there on my bike and was hooked when I first saw it at D&E Garage.

Begged and pleaded with my, not interested in cars, dad to take me to the drags and he relented on my 12 th birthday and saw it run on the strip for the first time.

I've never seen one in person and only these two in photos.

 

Atch, a lot of the panels had those stainless strips on them.

 

I guess I need to get out more often, huh?
