History See America in a hearse

I just thought I would share some old pics my mom found the other day of my granddads camper he built from a 55 Cadillac he****.From the mid 60's to the early 70's the family would take a grand summer vacation.

 

Looks like a pretty nice conversion job, but that camper apparently weighed a lot more than its former cargo... The avg. person probably wouldn't have known what it started life as.

 

Nice conversion. Looks like it was originally a Superior Coach.

 

That is awesome! Any clue of where it might be today?
