Anniversary of our town being flattened by a massive tornado in 1927 was Sunday and I was just looking at some old pics that our library has online thought you guys might like this one. I wish I could see more photos of that tow truck outside the Chrysler dealership, my buddy has a '26 Chrysler "Dealer Service Car" tucked away in storage and I'm wondering if that's another example of one - apparently they're very rare, until he met a guy with one at Hershey a couple years ago both of them thought they had the only one left.
Dealerships used to be places with such personality and, well, cool. Today they're sterile like a hospital. Awsome pics, thanks for posting them.
typical tornado. take the building down and leave the cars sitting there. had one at Wichita a few years ago that destroyed a whole house....I'm talking GONE as in NO HOUSE but the kitchen stove with that days supper still on it in the pots and pans with lids on them, ready to eat. weird....
