Maybe you might send a friendly email...that is of course if it was an amicable deal...stuff like that may get tossed when it may have some historic merit here...just curious. Another Hamber just posted a one off pic of a race coupe with a tragic story but the Hotrod was very interesting.

Very nice V8 60 tube axle you displayed...Love those!

  7. Have a set of round back spindles , new perch pins and a reversed eye spring to put the tube axle together .The brakes ,drums , and wheel cylinders are new on the stuff I just picked up .

  8. Heres what I have to replace that mess of a front axle

After actually owning a Mustang II, I can honestly say that it wasn't a exceptionally well handling car. I would rather run a straight axle...

To each their own I suppose... LOL

I like your replacement axle Wood Remover. I just wish that I had the round back spindles. I have the square back spindles & I have been wondering what brake options I will with those...

Nice haul, trick or treat came early for you this year. Early ford parts are drying up around here faster than an Arizona birdbath in August. I'd take crap from that guy any day of the week.

  13. Picked up this axle , spindles ,bones and wheel bearings at a market. Now I have a choice of front axles to use .

It's funny here on the H.A.M.B. about all the "traditional" discussions. It seems like we pretty much pick and choose the parts of the tradition we approve of at the time and try to pretend that the "scabbing" together of unsafe cars was not part of it. Why else were all of the safety rules necessary for all forms of racing? Not saying we should still do it .:)
