I was told thermal transfer, but have never had any trouble. The neversieze I use has aluminum in it. I also use it on battery terminals, to stop corrosion. And here's the one I'll hear groans about, I put it on lugnuts and have NEVER had a one come loose by itself.
I use the copper anti-seize, on anything I want to come out in the future (including spark plugs)... As I recall I bought it at NAPA...
There is no way graphite grease or copperslip can cause a grounding issue with plugs and i too have used it on all my lugnuts for 40 years. JW
try something real like krol, pb blast is a waste of money for anything thats really stuck. You can mix 50\50 atf and acetone also. you also should try to de-carbon the engine if its running to remove the build-up at the end of the plug
i had a plug that was frozen solid. i rounded of the spark plug and totally distorted it trying. i finally got it to budge with a bolt head extractor and a big 1" impact gun after lots of soaking. i saved the plug!
http://www.performancemotorcare.com/acatalog/Wurth_Rost_Off_Ice.html i spoke to a friend in the motor trade,he recommended getting the motor up to temp and then spraying with Wurth rost off iceRost off ice will cool the plug to minus 40c.we are going to give it a try
When you finely twist it off move the piston down in the hole take your torch and heat then remaining part red hot let it cool and use an easyout. You will almost be able to do it with your fingers.
