With the revelation of this new "TachMatch" gizmo, as recently discussed here, it now seems to be possible to get some of these sweet old things back into service, without breaking the bank. https://www.technoversions.com/TachMatch.html So, here are some candidates. There are 2 Stewart-Warners & 4 Suns. The one S/W is mechanical & the others are electric. (1) Here's the mechanical...works & looks good. 9,000 RPM...2:1 ratio...has the correct mounting bracket & (will have) a working light.socket. I think these were very late 1960's. $65. (2) ***SOLD*** Here's an 8,000 RPM Stewart-Warner in beautiful shape. It's dated February, 1960. There are no mounting studs, so it was probably intended to be used in a cup. It has a socket & light $40. (3) Here is a sweet little 4,000 RPM Sun "Football" tach., with a real nice pinch cup. It has a socket & the light. These were mid to late 1960's. It'd be great for a flattie. $115 (4) This is a strange 6,000 RPM Sun, which appears to have a factory brass bezel. It's in great shape except for some light speckling on the face. If you're interested, I can tell you how to correct that. It has the original mounting bracket & I will see that it has a light. $25. (5) ***SOLD*** Here is a 1960's Sun 8,500 RPM unit. I'm sure I can rustle up a mounting bracket & light, if you're interested. It will include & socket & light. Aside from some light scratches surrounding the needle adjustment knob & some light paint loss on the needle, it's in nice shape. $25. (6) ***SOLD*** Lastly, here is a rare 8,000 RPM Model D-4 Sun, dated April 14, 1947. It's in very respectable shape, especially considering that it's 78 years old. Included is a period sender (that still has the guts & original battery), which would be a great housing for a Tach-Match or a conversion by Williamson's. I have digital copies of an old brochure with all of the original models, options & instructions, which I will convey to you. $150. The aforementioned prices are plus shipping...$15 to the lower 48. PayPal (F&F) or a Postal Money Order would work. The first P.M. committing to buy gets the tach.
