  1. I'm here in Vegas at SEMA! I ran into KIRK at a buffet on Fremont street and Dennis O'Brien a couple times so far. Here are a few pics to enjoy.

Thanks for the pics and the live updates, but giant polished billet wheels still seem a little too popular for my tastes. Any new super cool cars, products, etc. that are more traditionally sympathetic? Not bagging on your post/photos at all, just wondering for my own curiosity since I am not there.

  18. SEMA is all about billet as you already know. I have seen some new cars and some really cool products that are pretty innovative but nothing that is appropriate for here. The economy I think had a big impact on the show this year. Seems to be many empty areas and booths, and not that much buying and selling going on.

Just flew home early this morning from the show. Was a great time. We got 3 new product awards, and I got to meet a few celebs as well. Only had 2 full days there this year though, so it was tough, and I had to miss quite a bit. :(

Ended up missing the HAMB meet & Greet set for Wed afternoon, as that was when the new products award reception was. At least it was an open bar. :)

  22. It's a cackle car and part of the three dragsters that Dynamat sponsors. "More Aggravation" also won the Ridler award in 1964 and Super Elimanator in 1966.

  26. While it may not exactly be HAMB material...I can say with some degree of pride that our little Design Studio at Lear and my friend Chris Jones at IAC designed the interior of this Cadillac roadster. This is the kind of fun my day-job can be sometimes!!
Again, while it may not necessarily be HAMB material, I thought it came out reeeeeeeeeal well...the car was constructed by RCR-Race-Car-Replicas in Fraser, MI.

The show was a BLAST!!! I found some great stuff to add to my website this year & met loads of new buds out there.

I finally got to see May Cause Dangerous & meet the "Great Gambino". The car looks so much better than any pic can show & it was a pleasure to meet you, Alex.

Andy Web was ever the gentleman & taking time to answer any & all questions on the new Golden Submarine that he's been working on for the last few years. Damn, that car just keeps getting better & better...

Posie did an elegant new ride for the guys @ Haneline, can you guess what it was/is? Most folks missed it's origins.

HAMBer Jordan's white high boy drew a line of folks to the Dupli-Color booth every time I went there. I only had 1 chance to snap a pic.

Singlefinger Speed Shop helped host a go-kart event with Whaba & Mothers @ Pole Position Karting on wednesday night. The race left 39 guys near death after 90 minutes of "balls to the wall" action.

Here's a couple of my pics of the week:
