Mike, Are you talking about the show on Sunday? That is the
Pharcyde truck club's show, mainly trucks and imports. I have known those guys for years and usually go. Its on Sunday though?

The '34 is beautifully crafted, and the '36 fenders make the skirts work remarkably well, and the color is amazing. Net net, though, the car feels kinda creepy to me -- like talking to a transves***e.

Now THAT is funny Tony! What's also funny is everybody, including Rick, call it a '34. Maybe cause it's a '34 body but?..... All I know is the grille is a '33 and since that is the most true to original part on the car, to me, it's a '33. Yeah, who cares?!

Looking forward to the BadGuys thing next weekend, hope to see alot of you guys there. The weekend after is the Good Guys thing, that'll be cool too. 'course, in between on Wednesday is the MediocreGuys show. Should kick ***.

GOD YES!!!!! That car is fabulous.

    So tastfull and flowing.

I give credit to everyone envolved in it's build.

Jeem, you ARE the man. It has to be exciting to see a concept drawing be built and end up so stunning.

Thats probably the most beastiful new car I've seen in a few years. The color couldn't be more perfect.

I'm honestly not too keen on it. I hope I didn't piss you off Jeem, I really like your work a lot.
The car just seems sort of displaced, it's almost like it's not referenced to any particular style. I guess you could say it has elements of art deco and coachbuilt European styles to it, but it appears unfamiliar to me.
I guess it's just me being closed minded because I'm baffled by anything that isn't grounded in tradition.

Just my 2 cents worth, I truly don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

The craftsmanship is obviously superior, nothing that I could ever aspire too.

    Is this Dore's new Kustom?

I talked to Rick Dore at last years Starbird show, he was describing his latest project
I believe it could be this 34 Ford with skirts. (Pictures were taken at SEMA.)

When is the last time you saw an early Ford tail dragger?

    Any more pics please!!!!!!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Don't sweat it Nads! There are things I would have done differently, like color and wheels/tires and a few trim details. Of course, like I said earlier, it probably wouldn't have that "Rick Dore" signature to it.

I said sweat and Nads in the same sentence.

  14. I like it (except for the $50 accelerartor pedal!)....but I could never get the ****er outta my driveway!

Something goofy going on between the decklid and the rear skirt though.....funky angles???

Love the colour...love the idea....Nice work Jeem.

Reminds me of Alex Xzydias(sp?) car that he drove when he originally founded the real SoCal Speed Shop in the '40's.

    Thanks Glen!
I am teaching an airbrush cl*** at the shope this week. Hopefully I can make the Bad Guys show for some inspiration.

I'm with Peddro all those killer custom built parts and a "off the shelf everystreetrod has it"gas pedal.I've always like Dore's stuff though. They are some of the only high dollar cars that get my attention everytime.
