    No, not that Austin.
Karen and I took the Essex down to a little show & shine yesterday in Austin Manitoba. It was held in conjunction with the annual Thresherman's Reunion. Not many HAMB-friendly cars there, but I thought some of you would enjoy the other machinery that was there. This is a spectacular event...anyone who claims to be a gearhead would enjoy it.

Thanks guys! We had a blast there, it was the first time we'd been to the place. There are literally hundreds of old tractors and other farm equipment at the museum and a good portion of it is in running condition. Lots of other stuff to look at in the various buildings as well. Anyone travelling in Manitoba in the summer should check the place out, and make sure you have at least a full day to do it as there's so much to see.

  13. Thanks for sharing the pix....I love shows like that and I 'Tip My Cap' to folks who preserve and restore these machines as they don't have the vast level of suppliers and manufacturers we do...I mean, there's no SEMA, AACA nor HAMB for these folks.

For you Mid-Atlantic folks, there's a similar show where I grew up, the Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Show and it's a hoot...been around 30+ years and a lot of fun.

Again, thanks for the pix and Manitoba looks like a beautiful place to live!
