OK, folks....it seems appropriate to start a Back to The Fifties thread on June 1st, being as it's the 50th anniversary of the show. So.....who's going? Roger.....(raises hand)
I said to my good TX buddy @hot-rod-1958 that we planned to do LARS and BTTF . He said “ do you mind if we tag along” Then it snow balled. Mark has put a huge effort in to the “Texas hot rod tour” organised venues , shops to visit and accommodation for an 18 car caravan . We fly from LARS to Tulsa to catch the first night . For us kiwis it’s going to be epic.
I will be there,along with my best bud and a couple other friends, It’s an annual pilgrimage for us from small town North of Winnipeg, Mb. We have had the pleasure of attending over 40 years worth of BTTF’s. Wouldn’t miss it for anything....best outdoor show in America
I will be Back to the 50's this year. Just identify the location, day, and time for a meet and greet and I will be there!
I’ll be there. Titus used to have a camp set up where guys would meet, but he hasn’t done that in a while. Not sure if someone else could pick up the reins?
Unfortunately going to miss it this year, only my 2nd miss since 1998, but shit happens! You guys have fun!
Looks like I will be a walker this year, sold the 52 Catlina last December. Hope to see some of the HAMB friends on what should be a big show.

Most of the rain will be on Friday, it's supposed to taper off on Saturday and then Sunday is supposed to be dry with temps in the 70s, so it shouldn't be a total washout.
It turned out to be a pretty decent day, a little wet early then the rain stayed away until around 2 when we had a light shower. ‘Twas a good day…
