sending more than one PM within 60 seconds???

why is it that the PM system is setup so that you can only send one PM every 60 seonds??? it's happened to me several times where i will be replying to a PM and then go to reply to the next PM with a short answer and i try to send it and it comes back because it has been less than 60 seconds since i hit the send ****on on the last PM. what is the reason for this feature???

 

It's to keep people from spamming.

 

I find it hard to believe Mike has more than one friend to talk to.


I know, cuz I've tried to carry on several conversations at once and not been able to do it.

But, it's odd that you can send the SAME PM to five different people at once. That, I think, would make it easier to spam.
