Sent Items

When I send private messages using the "Private Messages" function, my "Sent Items" folder always remains empty? How can I enable it so I can read and review my replies to incoming messages, or review the messages that I have initiated?
As it is, anything I write instantly and permanently disappears when I hit the reply ****on.

 

Yeah, me too. Although it hasn't always done this.

 

There's a box to check as you post, but ya gotta do it *everytime*. I always forget to. Hahaha

I wish it was something you could set once and be done.

I check the "Message receipt requested" box when it appears, but my reply is still not saved in the "Sent Items" yet all incoming messages are saved and accessible. Right now my message box contains a Total of 12 (received) messages, all of which I have read and replied too, but none of my replies are to be found anywhere, except perhaps in the "Private Messages" of the recipients, this inability to review sent messages makes it difficult to carry on protracted conversations as one side of the conversation is effectively 'lost' at every reply.

 

After you reply to the message, and BEFORE you send your reply, scroll down to the next window that is labled Misc. Options.

Click the box that says

"Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items Folder"

You will have a copy then....

You must do it each time you want to save a sent message.

Hey thanks Mutt, It worked! however I will note for others that if you click the "Preview Message" bar, the checked box will automatically become unchecked again in the Preview, so will need rechecking before hitting the "Send Message" Thanks again.
