Yep; I too, have revisited this thread, attempting to state how I feel. My feelings were deleted because of politically correct rules here. It seems this thread is about each of us patting ourselves on the back about how what WE were doing that day, how terrible we mourn for those that died, but not about how we feel about the perps. Therefore I'll simply "ditto" everything you said, fab 32 and just don't ask me HOW I REALLY FEEL.

 

I sure hope it doesn't take another ten years to finally catch Bin Laden! It's not good enough that we got to hang his co-conspirator Saddam. We need to also get the mastermind, not just a distant flunky.

Beware of the holy grail. Yes much of this has been about capturing Bin Laden and punishing him. Unfortunately in the long term it may be better for all of us if he is never found or of if he is/has been found it is kept secret.
He would become a martyr that would rally the wrong elements to fight harder.
Yes he needs to pay for his actions, no we do not need to suffer the consequences.
