    Looks like Jack Stewart's coupe and Harry Bradley's car were the bargains.

    12,000 actual mile 39 Ford. Ralph bought this car from me for 30 grand and it sold for 52,250

    haha, thanks, you should have seen the waste basket full of crumpled up paper that it took to get to that!!!

    Oh boy, I never thought about that, let me page thru the catalog and see.

    1. Deals wheels 57 chevy. (owned and own again)
    2. Roths secret weapon trike (owned, but it went through another owner before Ralph got it)
    3. Art Gerrick car. (worked on)
    4. Roth Mysterion clone (I owned it in unfinished form before Shuten got it)
    5. Adonis clone (Worked on, I helped my pal John that built it)
    6. Roth Road agent (owned and restored)
    7. 55 Chev drag car, Millers beauty . (owned)
    8. Starbird Big T (owned, I bought it from the guy that won it in a radio station giveaway)
    9. Farhners Eclipse (owned)
    10. Roth Mega cycle (owned and I bought it back at the auction)
    11. Big John Mazmanians 61 corvette. (worked on, I helped during the resto when my pal Steve Hendrickson owned it)
    12. 1916 T roadster the Trojan (owned)
    13. 39 Ford Tudor (owned)

  7. I am STILL sick to this day I did not go to the auction and I missed that car at that price. Of course, had I been there it no doubt would have gone past my price range. LOL We were building the office at the time, so money was tight. My wife said I should go but I knew I didn't really have any cash to spare, so did the "smart" thing and stayed home out of temptation's way. When I saw what the LaJolla went for I was just crushed that I could have had a chance at it had I gone.

    I hear ya, I was there and it happened so dang fast that I couldn't believe it. I had already bought 2 vehicles that I technically didn't have room for....
