Traditional rods have always been cool....those rat rod things have never been cool but anyhow....welcome. Is your shop the one down by the pier? I was there in 1996 and 1997. Is that little pink hotel still down there on the corner of Newport and some other street? Hung out on Newport for a few days, Sushi, surfers, Bikers, and a little breakfast joint that served up big portions on the cheap....and some place called "The Black" if memory serves....kinda foggy at times
