Event Coverage SF Bay area truck gathering

I am in to it especially if it is Port Costa - right around the block for me in Benicia. I will travel too though...I go there every once and a while - sometimes a place for bikers to hang out. Bar has good beer on tap and I hear the food is good but have not eaten there. I can easily go by on the way home from work (and have a beer ) and get a menu etc.....

 

Any one going to Sacramento Swap meet Sunday?

Sorry I some how missed the post above mine ???? I am involved with the Benicia Car Show on 5/1 which means I am busy setting things up etc... on 5/30 ..... Too bad was wanting to meet all of you...

 

1948stude, darn, just too many shows around here to work around. Sorry you won't be able to join us. If you can squeeze some time out of the day and want to join us, keep it in mind. I met you at the Vallejo show last summer if you recall. I was just there with my young son and we chatted with you for a few minutes. Didn't have my truck there, just walking around. Look forward to meeting up again at some point.

HVSpeed, you're in. Take the day off! Cut off is just mid 60's just like the hamb. So the '46 definitely works and the '67 might be cool too if it is sort of more old school than new school. I'm not looking to be a hard *** about things. If you can get the day off, you can bring either one.

cadillac nut, are you sure you have to work? 100% sure? This kind of stuff is a sickness and people get sick all of the time. I've seen you car around. Would be glad to meet you and see what kind of truck you have. Don't count us out yet.

Yes I do remember meeting you! We will get together again soon. For anyone interested there is also a get together on Fridays after 5 till..... in Concord/P. Hill near DVC in a parking lot by K-Mart. I just went a couple of weeks ago good turn out and nice people!

Unfortunatley I have been ill for the past few days and out of work. If the doc gives the green light today I need to make up for lost time. that means this weekend. Hopefully you do it again. Have fun fellas.

I'm just thinking we each bring out own food/snacks, etc. Can maybe even just pick up whatever at the Safeway if wanted and I might even just do that. Is everyone good with that? If someone has a little grill they could bring, maybe we could do some burgers and dogs, but I don't have one handy. I could maybe pick up a little propane one at OSH. I have a tank I can bring though so I can cover that part.

What about doing it next Sat. May 7th instead? That was the original date I thought best but shifted it to 4/30 because of the other truck show across the bay on the 30th. I don't think anyone who was going to roll with us was into that anyway. I'm not planning to myself so i'm good with that.

Does that work better for more of you guys or does later in the summer/fall sound more like it. Maybe I need to do a better job of organizing this. Sorry about that.

 

Why not all meet at the Hayward airport swap on the 7th. I'll be selling there. Green Ford Ranger.
