Since AHOTROD pointed out that I haven't intro'd myself to the group... My name is Kevin Tucker. I am a photographer based on the east coast. I will be working with Zombie on his new undertaking, Traditional Rod & Kulture. I have been keeping an eye on the nostalgia drag movement and that is basically my passion. Born too late to stand on the starting line with fellow photogs like Bob McClurg, the late Leslie Lovett and many others, I hopefully will try to be a part of the recent nostalgia movement. I definately do not know it all. Always willing to listen to those who have been there because knowledge, like history, needs to be appreciated and held onto. Currently involved with documenting the build of a '49 chevy gasser that will run a 350 with a 6-71 on alky.
Better "late" than never.Welcome to the HAMB !!! Since you are an photographer,I look forward to some pics from you. What about one of your '49 ?

Ahhhh, humility...one of the better traits of man... Great to have you one of the HAMB family...............look forward to seeing "Traditional Rod & Kulture" soon!
Excellant INTRO Kevin ... Good Job..and Welcome to the Family HAMB ! Now we are going to expect "Insider-Information" and "Photo's" ya know There is a wealth of knowledge here, as many of us have "been-there-done-that" and are still doing it. Don't hesitate to ask ..... we just may have the answer Welcome to the HAMB ! Glenn
Welcome, Kevin! This is the place you've been looking for. I also am a photojournalist (for Primedia), and could sure learn some things from YOU! (for proof of my crappy photography, see tonights post of pix from a rejected R&C story of mine) I'm also a nostalgia drag race guy (mostly on the Goodguys circuit nowdays), and there are a few of us on here...You seem to be coming in with the right attitiude to glean a wealth of info from this place - most of the people on here have done all the stuff you grew up reading about...And now it's your turn... Just remember that while shooting pix from the guardrail, always have an escape route planned out in advance - don't ask me how I know that...........
Thanks for the welcome... It is appreciated. To 59_Elky_427: I was born and raised in DE so we haven't met. Doesn't mean our paths won't cross though... I do look forward to learning and it seems as though I'm in the right place. A few asked for more photos so I pulled a few...
Cool pics! I do know some people from Wilmington. There's a guy from there I met at the Mobtown Greaseball. Maybe you know of him or seen his ride. he owns a black primered 59 Belair with a 2" chop. The top is white. I can't remember his name for the life of me.
Welcome, Man! Alot of photogs here. I look forward to checking out your work. Gassers are the big thing it seems. Hot Rod magazine sez so. You'll find many Gasser freaks on the HAMB. As a matter of fact a new club debuted at the Chicago WoW this past weekend, the Midwest Gasser Association. They had qiute a few awesome rides there. Pics on the HAMb this weekend. Oh and did I say Welcome? Joel
Welcome Kevin!! Sorry about that wounded animal thing in the other post...I've dropped the stick. Honest. Spike
