Shameless Self-Promotion

I know, like I don't do enough already- but I'll be right there with you to see if I passed or failed when I explainthe origin of the pre-war American hot rod and it's eventual metamorphasis into the street rod- and then back to traditional hot rods. My on-air debut is part of an episode on the History Channel's "Modern Marvels" series that focuses on "Custom Cars". It premiers Monday Dec. 5 at 8pm. I haven't seen it yet so I don't know how much or little is on hot rods. I know they talked to other rodders, but also some lowrider guys and others. Even if I suck I got to share the screen with Jimmy White's bitchin '32 Roadster that's at least worth tuning in for.

 

Thanks for the heads-up. I will reserve judgement until I see your on-screen debut.

UNLESS I posted the photo I took of him RUNNING away from Rich in his roadster as Rich slid sideways towards him at 60MPH. Although I think he was running TOWARD his stingray to save it.
