A couple of weekends ago, Joe (QQMOON on the HAMB) invited a few people to come along to christen his new shed. This isn't any old shed, but one that is bigger than most people's houses. Here's a couple of pics I took (with a little help from Drewfus). Here's the host's little coupe. Chad's (aka Skippy) '50 Poncho. One of the small details... (I love this pic) There were kids everywhere! A handful of the cars that were there. Later on in the night I loaded up the camera with some HIGH SPEED black & white. Burgo's tub. We sat around watching the MFS DVD projected on to the back of a Roll-A-Door, which, by the way is not the ideal surface. (That's Drewfus on the left) ...and here's just some of the crowd trying to stay warm. I'll put the rest of the pics up on a web page soon.
Looks like a good time Thats a HUGE "shed" I'd love to go to australia someday...it's weird to think that it actually gets COLD there
Ok so what you really have thar is a barn not a shed. You have your basic "lean to" which is one two by four a sheet and the corner of your mobile home. You have your basic shed when you have two or more walls that may or may not be self supporting. You have a barn when you have a structure larger than your mobile home....consequently you usually have more**** in a barn than a mobile home as well........anyway looks like real kick**** get together

Alright, enough talk about New Zealanders. Let's get back on track. Here's a couple more pics as a special added bonus. Here's Skippy cutting some lines on Joe's latest acquisition. Can't remember the guy's name, but this was the maiden voyage for his T Coupe. The guy is a pattern maker by trade and made a LOT of the stuff on this thing. Like the rocker cover fins. The steering wheel and pedals etc Even the FREEKING wheels!!!
[ QUOTE ] it's weird to think that it actually gets COLD there [/ QUOTE ] Huh? You wanna try Melbourne today....FREAKIN' FREEEEEZING! Thanks for the pics Boris and Andrew. Looked like a good night at the SHED. {BARN?? Pfffft! They're for hay and cows, aren't they?}

[ QUOTE ] I didn't realise my head was so big and balding..... Drewfus [/ QUOTE ] Must be the wide angle lens distorting it. BTW, I've got all of the pics burned on to CD, so if you want copies (Joe, Drewfus, Skippy), let me know.
Thanks for the pics Boris, I've never thought detail and my poncho went together,I love the shot.A cold night and lots of kids are a stripers worst enemy.Nice to finally meet Drewfus too. Are the Bobbin Head photos ready???????
Yep, Bobbin Head pics are uploaded but I haven't had a chance to make up a web page yet. There are pics at the HRI site though. CLICK HERE Boris.
Checked out those shots on HRI. Funny about the channeled pick-up. A mate of mine bought it from Canberra. Looks like it's heading back there.
