I've found that the macs quarters aren't right. The wheel well area is square where it should be round (at lead of the opening of the wheel well and at the end of it). Nothing a shrinker stretcher can't fix, but is the easiest way to see a car that has been patched up

Welderdave, I only learned this from buying them and then buying NOS sheetmetal. Honestly, you can't really tell the difference when just looking at them unless you've been in that situation. As I've learned how to use tools, making the radius to fix the macs panel wouldn't take more than fifteen minutes. It would be as simple as just cutting a radius and making yourself a new wheel lip/leading edge of the quarter. I wish I still had my quarters hanging from my garage to show you but they're on the car now!

This would be a good piece for EMS to manufacture

I don't think the cl***ic2current.com website is up anymore. The domain name will not work and shows it is available for sale. Gotta link?

I wish some of the company's were making these items when I was building the wagon, the popularity of the 52-54 Fords have finally gained recognition from the sheet metal company's.

when I started replacing my rockers and quarter panels the only thing available was a 4' x8' sheet of steel,a lot of cutting beating and luck. HRP
