Just a quick question for all you metal formers out there, how do you make your sheet metal smooth after shaping without using an english wheel? Is there anyway or is it really the only way to do it?
You can hammer and dolly to planish it out by hand or you could use a planishing hammer. There are many ways to accomplish what you are asking. There are shops out there that do not have English wheels too.
