Looks like you are going to have to shake the bushes Mark. I know of a couple dozen cars and trucks right her in central Indiana that should have their pics posted on here.

  21. Gentlemen we are slowly approaching Dec.15th am I to believe that everyone but a few on here have no cars???
I have seen some really Kool builds on this site and plenty of pics posted while driving our Hot Rods,I personally think this is a great thread to bring us all together and not only share our passion for this lifestyle, but also sharing in this community of ours, lives that need to be touched and saved...I never thought this would reach a personal level into family and this is our way of giving back and brining much need awareness to the stigma of Suicide,Depression & Mental Health.
    Thanks

  22. Well I don't know if this fits but I do feel the need to share this, it started out as a project that my son had since he was 16 and never got rid of, something he always wanted to get to but never had the funds or time or skills so my wife and I decided to do something "special" for him and we brought it home for a rebuild........

Bought some parts to start with.....

He wanted it low so had to bag it.....

A close friend helped me paint her in his barn..... thanks Jim

Mom even let me store parts in the spare bedroom what a gal!

Naturally the ol 283 had to go so this 400hp small block filled the bill

So after about three years we finally got it finished......

My fondest moments were driving down the 202 with my son at the wheel and seeing his big grin as he hit the go pedal, at least he got to enjoy it for a moment in time and I would do it all over again in a second if I could. Rest in peace my son....... Dad

So for all of you out there who have sons or daughters who are not in a good frame of mind, keep a close watch on them, love them for all you are worth take them out for a ride and talk to them, for you will never know what a difference you can make.
    Suicide sucks!

  23. Found some more, thanks

  29. I know I am. lol If it wasn't for being one of the first ones to post up I don't think I would have bothered

  30. Here's my wife's '47 Hudson Commodore 8. It's the best looking we've got car we've got. I like the cause of this deal. Her uncle committed suicide a few years back. He had some cool cars like a '29 Nash touring and '62 Impala.
