But there's a lot to do yet!! I've got most of the sheetmetal work done and it finally looks like something.

Let's see if anybody can figure out what I did to the front end of the truck. Besides the obvious of making the fenders one piece.

The bumpers are 49 plymouth and I need 3rd one to finish the back bumper. Had to do a lot of reshaping to make them flow with the body.

It shoud sit about 4 inches lower and will have just a little rake when done.

    Cbang...nope.

I"ll let the cat outa the bag cause nobody will get it. I pulled it's lower jaw up a bit. :)

There was about an inch and a half between the bottom grill bar and the lower splash pan. I made a new pan and moved it up tight against the bottom bar. The big dip in the opening has always bothered me. That and the lower pan was narrower than the top piece between the fenders. now they match.

Moparman...the nose diving is an illusion in these pics. I don't know why they look like that. the pic from the back makes the fenders look right.

that thing rocks! tell about the window treatment, that really changed it.

  13. coulda fooled me by the pix. I pie cut the fenders on my 49 Plymouth to slope the nose down as the 49 fenders run slightly uphill. I saw a panel like yours (prior to all the work) out in eastern Wash a couple of weeks ago for a good price. looked pretty solid.

55dude....I used the tops of 8 doors to make the windows. The roof is from a 57 Ford wagon and there is an extra door on the p***enger side now. just to make it easy to get in the back seat.

That is some sweet metal work and that roof looks so much better than the original, not so much crown, keep up the good work.

Clark--You reworked the bottom pan below the last bar where it usually dips down. Now it flows much smoother across the top of the bumper to give the grill opening a much cleaner line along the bottom bar.. Nice touch!!

I actually got a chance to see thing thing in Junior's garage when I picked up my '32. It was really impressive and I was drooling over it a bit.
