She's coming back together at last!

Hiya folks,

My trucks starting to look like a truck again (not bits everywhere!)

Challange today was to get the cab back on the ch***is and the engine back in situ.

Here's a few pics on how we managed it.

We manged to lift the cab up, then we blocked it up aswell to get the extra height needed so we could just push Ch***is under it

Finally both are back where they belong

Tightned bolts in engine mount and put propshaft back in place.

Looks like you got all under control. That's exactly how I got the ch***is under the cab of the F-Truck.
Don't stop now you're almost there.
Whats that color? looks good.

 

Is that color the stock Ford color that was on Rangers and such several years ago...it also looks like it could be a color that was on Geo Trackers at one time...what is that? Is it purple or more pink?

That mill is crazy in that purple!

 

Thanks, i'm trying to get it back on the road for next month.

Don't know what the colours called seen it on the paint chart at paint shop and said i want that and that colours.

It's called OCTOBASE and it's a mettalic base coat and laquer system. (whatever that means i just went for the colour )
PS don't get rangers over here

Color reminds me of those anodized alum. cups we drank out of as kids. They made water tasye like s--t!

Dont laugh! remember that red Caddy convertible i had, me & shakey mike went to a weekender (Brean) wearing blonde wigs.....the guy on the gate never even smiled....he thought they were real! funniest thing you ever saw.

 

Ernie it made it's debut at Billing last year, i hope it's on the road before then. But with Hembsy coming up!! Told taildraggin he had to get some music in the poncho for Hembsy. (bad enough yesterday listen to 4 hours of engine noise car has no sound proofing! )

I do keep whipping him but he seems to enjoy it

Limey i think he'll be doing the blonde wig and dark gl***es thing if he uses it!

I remember that caddy you took it Wheels Day aswell?
Did you get asked out on a date in those wigs though???

Yes it was raining Limey and it was at Guilford.
