Don't cheap out on the jack and jack stands, seriously, your life depends on it...we ALL know someone who has been pinned, injured or killed when a car fell on them...and I laughed pretty hard at the berber photoshopping comment...good luck getting her running and driving soon, my wallet depends on you
God yeah, hadn't even occurred to me to look for a bargain on jack stands. If poor Nick (va-va-VOOM PAOW!) in KISS ME DEADLY had had that car on jack stands, the villain couldn't have dropped it on him so easily. Tsk. Anyway, almost 2 tons of car seems to me to be something to take seriously when hoisting off the ground. No worries, your money's safe, I'll keep ya posted!!

I'll most likely be adding updates to it this weekend, particularly more of the engine and underside as my plan is fuel/fuel line/gas tank going-over, and labeling and voltmeter-testing the rat's nest of wiring under the hood.
