What are ya rowing with? A tap handle? A skull? A glitter ball? A tiki head? A McPhail wolf's head? An acrylic monkey paw? A fake grenade? A polished hunk of stone? A rusty POS? A brilliantly polished billet turdsicle? A sixties aluminum Hurst T with FUBARed threads, Br*** khuckles? The handle of a busted screwdriver? A hammer head? A pistol grip? A toy knife? A pirate's dagger? A piston? A beer can? A baby's arm holding an apple? I got a dumb *** SoCal Speed aluminum jobbie on a Lokar 23" nostalgia shifter. ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz! Whatta ya got? Let's throw down some pics...
I've been looking for a shifter knob on ebay. Almost got a few cool ones but got out bid at the last second. Anyone looking to sell some extras they have lying around? I'm looking for maybe pin up girls, old eye ball shifters. Not really into skulls though. PM me if ya got anything
I've got a bunch of em and change a lot. But this Normskull is the current one. This is an old pic before the car was finished.
Damn that looks kool just sitting there! I got a hepcat from chromeRAT myself. Cannot wait till I can get it on one of my cars. KNUX!
Sorry no pics but its just a white 3-speed knob with the h pattern ground off. Had the old thing since the 50's. Its on a 5 speed now
Currently my Rivi is just teh stocker with some MoP stretched over it. The second is my '58 Apache which is currently running a standard Chromedrat skull.
He is learning about farming and sheep in the midwest somewhere, and being subjected to 80's hair band music in heavy doses, but with out a brain he won't remember much.
My shift handle is a one third section af SBC cam topped off with a machined aluminum spike. Made my own lever and had to put another piece of cam down low as a counterbalance 'cause the handle is so effin' heavy. How retarded...but in reverse the spike is inches away from the p***enger's head, heh- heh. Makes people nervous just looking at it!
From the 30's (I think) Akro Agate gl*** swirl shift knob. Has that cool milk gl*** finish and I have never seen a swirl this perfect from any other survivors. One of my favorite car parts that I own.
How about this Original super rare Barris knob.......Would look killer on a Black Merc or on a Barris klone, don't you think? I was told that George only made 100 of these for the 50th Starbird Hall of Fame show. I asked Winfield if he got one and he said that he heard that George was giving them out but he didn't get one because he got to the show on Saturday and they were already gone, and when he asked George if he was gonna make another batch....he said NO! (Pics really don't do it justice, this is a really nice piece)
