   Does anyone know of a kit that will convert, my 51 chevy to a floor shifter, without changing the ******, or any huge mods.

   National Chevy ***ociation has one for the manual trans. For the Powerglide, you could probably adapt something just as easy using a 1980s Camaro shifter cable and your choice of shifter.
