[ QUOTE ] Just use a glass and tile bit from the hardware store. It will look like a arrowhead. Work slowly and don't force the bit. [/ QUOTE ] Well I knew it was possible, I have seen some things at those god forsaken craft shows my wife drags me to....I saw one of those glass blocks (the kind they used to use for windows in brick building basements) with a hole drilled in it and stuff crammed into it. I figured if an old lady with a penchant for making tacky home furnishings can do it I can too.... Now I just need more info on resins and stuff like that. Anyone? For the shot-glass a clear resin with a brown tint and for the skull/devil-heads etc....what do they use? And how do they make the molds? Ohh and what are the molds made of ?!?! SHEESH, I don't ask for much do I?
After surfing here in HAMB-sea for a while I discovered that my Swedish friend must be a cousin of MR BONES! They look exactly the same!!

SHEESH, I don't ask for much do I? [/ QUOTE ] Hey Broman, Check out this website: http://www.alumilite.com/howto.cfm The company alumilite makes all the resin stuff you'll need. The website also has a great "How To" section on making all different kinds of molds, like 1 piece, 2 piece, etc and shows some examples of casting different items like model cars and stuff....could easily be used to take a mold from an existing skull and cast a new one!! Hope this helps I'm going to cast my own shift knob too...except I am going to take a mold from a 4 to 5" Tiki and cast it from aluminum then polish it up nice and bright Paul

Not a shift knob, but I had to fill the hole left in my 50 Chevy steering column, when I put my shifter on the floor
