I am having trouble bring this bumper back to life. The center piece shines OK, but not great. The outsides are foggy looking. The chrome is not cracked or peeling just cloudy. I tried steel wool and metal cleaner but it will not bring it back. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I posted it twice by mistake.

  4. It looks like one of those bumpers on eBay that the seller claims..."it'll buff out fine." So why doesn't he buff it out first?

Your results may vary. It needs to be stripped, polished and plated. There is no other magic.

You're close to Mexico. Plating there is MUCH cheaper than here.
