i am buying a '29 p/u cab & doors from a HAMB'er in new jersey (on a pallet i think) and need it shipped to san jose, ca. i need advise on the best method of shipping it. any ideas?
[ QUOTE ] get ahold of BenD on here [/ QUOTE ] what he said. check out the Hamb-0-dex. Ben was just here this past weekend in CA.
Thanks guys, I'll be in touch, my computer keeps crashing on me. Can't you guys find projects any closer?
If Ben can't pull it off, you might wanna try Forward Air. I've shipped motorcycles, parts, and all kinds of stuff with those guys. Coast to coast won't be cheap no matter how it goes. It's a lotta miles and a lotta gas.
I second the ForwardAir idea, used them for some bikes too, pretty reasonable. If you know someone with an account with one of the freight companys it can be pretty cheap. I just shipped about 1000lbs of old metal out here (Calif) for $400 bucks. BB
