    Hello -

Thinking of buying a car that I found for sale, but would need to get it shipped from SC to MN. Has anyone used shipping companies or are there any locations that I can find out about shipping companies out there? I have heard some bad stories about shipping cars and never getting any information about the dates where your car is or not shipping correctly so I am a bit scared of just finding a random one on the internet.

Please let me know if you have any information about shipping a car. Note: it does not run and it is a convertible.

    Thanks all.

Our own HAMB member Racinman lives in SC and he delivers cars for a living.

    Go here for him http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=71078

Lots of HAMBers have used him and he has excellent comments of his price, service and prompt on time delivery.

I would suggest using one of the Hambers. Look in the "Hamb-Odex" section.

Stay away from brokers. I almost had to use one recently and managed to dodge that situation. If you can stay AWAY from the brokers.

Thanks all for the information. Plans change a bit as the guy sold it out from under me as I was making arrangements to have it shipped. Found a new one but would need it shipped from Wichita KS up to Prior Lake MN anytime in the next few weeks.

    Thanks again,
    Ben
