Go to www.Uship.com - it's a site where transport companies and indivduals bid for your business. I have shipped cars with them for way less than the major carriers. I always try Uship first - not just for cars but for bulky parts. Just shipped 5 rearends and driveshafts from OK to CA for $275!

  9. Several people on the HAMB do transport for other HAMB members :D

U-Ship is a last resort where you will receive offers to ship that are below cost from incompetent people :p

Give your business to a HAMB member like BEN D or MARCY :D

Just do a 'search' using "haul" or "transport" ;)

That's bull. Uship works good and it is super fast. That's because when a hauler knows he will be in denver dropping one off, he jumps on uship to see if he can get a haul real close by. Then you get super good prices because it all flows for the hauler. One thing is to ignore the high feedback commercial haulers on there because they bid on nearly every job and subcontract. I wait for multiple bids and pick a smaller owner/operator so it stays more personal and I can actually talk to the real hauler...not some middleman.

Buddys 55 chevy just left sunday from cleveland ohio sunday,to go to a LA county fireman. The bill was for 2100 dollars and change from Horseless Carrige (spell) one of the most expensive enclosed haulers. The driver said estimate a dollar a mile. On the truck was a Ferrari a early 80s Elcamino pro touring a new a Roush mustang and a Lexus SUV . Driver left from up state NY Sunday AM PU 55 Sunday 8pm . Have not heard if it has got there yet. Hope this helps.

I have used Dependable Auto Shippers multiple times.

I shipped my 55 Nomad from Maryland to San Diego CA covered for $1200. THen a Brand New $25K VW Deisel next time. You can save $300 if you ship open container. I used these fellas twice and was real happy. you also save if you pick up your car at a depot instead of door to door. Also, more if the can does not run.

Try them, their bonded and have insurance available. ALso insure when shipping, your cars gotta be worth insurance if its worth shipping in the first place.

    :)

That's my multiple time experience too. Got a non running 1936 project vehicle and a mountain of spare sheetmetal - fenders, grille shells, hoods, running boards - enough to hang and fill a 60ft wall, from OH to So Cal for $1k - enclosed trailer and was here within five days of booking and three days of being picked up - in winter. Unbeatable deal in my book.
