I am trying to finish up my airbag install on my 65 Cadillac. I cannot find a spot to mount the shocks that doesn't hit something either while turning or through cycling. So my question is, is there any problem mounting the shock so the top is attached to the upper a arm and the bottom is the stationary part. This would effectively change the operation. When the suspension compresses the shock would rebound, and vice versa

I don't now how to post pictures and don't want to learn. But the are mounted behind the arms , Upper brace shock mount hole is about 3 inches above top of frame. Turn the steering wheel to full turn in the triangle formed by a arm , frame and tire side wall is shock location
