Just picked up a new pair of shocks, not gas style, designed for a 67 - 87 Chevy K-10, K-20 4x4 front. They are a good length and end style to fit my Mdl A coupe. The A has a dropped axle. Will be a full fender car. The engine is a 425 Buick Automatic.

Would these shocks be a good choice or are they too heavy for my little A, keeping in mind the heavy engine?

    Thanks for the input.

Are you sure there not gas charged? I didn`t know any one made them anymore. The weight of the engine will play a roll, but I think the weight of the car is also something to consider. The shock valve is going to be a little strong for the light weight of your car. IMHO.

  3. Im runnin the same shocks on the front of a '30 A roadster with 348,they are [GAS] tho,and about right in my opinion.
I have the same shock at the rear and I think they are too stiff on the rear......
