Shoe needs help in st lewis, mo

SHOE is driving to ks from jersy, his cooling fan quit its not a fuse, would anyone have some time to run a jumper wire for him ? call jeff 620-441-3548. thanks

HE BYPASSED THE CONTROL SWITCH, AND RAN A JUMPER TO THE BATTERY, BUT iM WORRIED ABOUT THAT. HE IS STAYIN THE NIGHT AND HEADIN OUT IN THE MORN.DO YOU THINK THIS WILL GET HIM TO KS, WHERE WE CAN FIX IT, OR BURN THE FAN UP >???

 

As long as the fan doesn't have a short or something causing a drag (over load) on it it should be ok. a toggle switch so he doesn't have to get out and unplug it every time he shuts the car off and an inline fuse would be nice but not a necessity of life.
He could probably run at night and at highway speeds and not need the fan if he has enough air flow through the radiator at speed. Having the fan running just makes life simpler.
