Hello Hambers I am re powering my 49 Shoebox with a 302 and am using a re drilled bell to retain the orig 3 sp O/D and column shift. I have a 71 Cougar clutch fork and the T/O bearing is approx 2" away from contact with the pressure plate in the mid position of the window in bell. Any suggestions on pressure plate and T/O bearing would be great. Thanks, Gordon
