i have been reading and reading. I'm new to this with cars. I building a 1951 ford shoebox with a ***mins diesel. I'm looking at putting a mid 60's bronco rear end. I know the lug pattern is different and it's only 1 inch wider. I'm not sure about gearing. any help will be great. I was told 2.73 are the way to go. thanks.

You may be better off with a Maverick or a Granada,,both would have the correct bolt pattern and the width is about right for the shoebox.

    The Bronco has a 5" x 5 1/2" bolt pattern.

As for the Diesel,,it's your car but it sure ain't what comes to mind on a traditional hot rod site like the Hamb. HRP
